Role Purpose
To strengthen AMMA Foundation’s visibility, reputation, and stakeholder engagement through effective marketing, communications, and public relations efforts, while providing essential administrative and programme support. This role is central to promoting initiatives such as the HOPE Initiative, enhancing donor and community engagement, and ensuring smooth execution of Foundation activities.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Public Relations
· Develop and implement basic marketing and communication materials (e.g., social media posts, newsletters, donor updates, website content).
· Maintain and update the Foundation’s digital presence, including social media platforms and website.
· Assist in planning and executing PR activities, including press releases, media coordination, and event publicity.
· Support branding efforts to enhance the Foundation’s visibility across programmes and community engagements.
· Produce simple digital content (visuals, captions, short write-ups) to support storytelling and outreach.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication
· Serve as a key point of contact for students, donors, partners, and the public, ensuring professional and timely responses.
· Prepare communication materials including emails, letters, presentations, and reports.
· Assist in donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgement letters and follow-up updates.
· Liaise with vendors, service providers, and collaborators to support communication and outreach activities.
Programme Coordination
· Support implementation of AMMA Foundation programmes, particularly the HOPE Initiative, including scheduling, logistics, and monitoring.
· Assist in preparing programme-related reports, proposals, and communications for internal and external stakeholders.
· Track timelines, follow-ups, and documentation to ensure smooth programme delivery.
Administrative & Operational Support
· Maintain accurate records of applications, programme disbursements, and communications.
· Manage filing, documentation, data entry, and general administrative duties.
· Assist with organising events, board meetings, community engagements, and site visits.
· Support digital transition initiatives (e.g., e-filing, database updates).
· Assist in planning and layout considerations for the community centre space when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Fresh graduates with strong communication skills, creativity, and interest in marketing/PR in the NGO sector are encouraged to apply.
· 1–2 years’ experience in communications, marketing, administration, or the non-profit/education sector is an advantage.
· Strong proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
· Tech-savvy and familiar with social media, basic design tools (e.g., Canva), or digital content creation.
· Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Passionate about community work and aligned with AMMA Foundation’s mission and values.
