We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of YAB Tun Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, a distinguished statesman and a man of great compassion and integrity.

We will always be especially grateful for his magnanimous support of our cause in providing educational opportunities to deserving students. In 2008, Tun Abdullah’s generous approval of a RM3 million grant to our foundation made a profound impact, enabling us to extend scholarships and interest-free loans to those in need. His belief in the power of education and his commitment to uplifting others reflect the true measure of his character.

Tun Abdullah’s vision of cemerlang, gemilang, terbilang was not merely a slogan, but a guiding philosophy he lived by — one that sought excellence, honour, and distinction for the nation and its people. His values continue to shape our aspirations and remind us of the kind of Malaysia we must strive to build.
